Hello1

I have download a file diald-0.16.tar.gz and have used gunzip and tar to 
extract it.After extracting the file it created a subdirectory called 
diald-0.16.
i cd on it and type "make depend". but it displays an error message:

cc -E -M *.c > .depend
/bin/sh: cc: command not found
make: *** [depend] Error 127

The make file in my system is in /usr/bin.

What could be wrong?

I am in desperate need to install diald.
