[expert] Ctrl+Alt-F3

F3 is very popular around here. Darryl logs in on TTY1 and gets into
trouble, then Root logs into the system on TTY2, kills something, and
then has to login again on TTY3 to shut the system down. :/  I'm not
complaining, it only happens once or twice a month, compared to you know
what.

I'm almost ready to disconnect the reset button on this box.
