hehehe...  did you remove the bootsplash package?  If so, you should
be able to do  "urpmi bootsplash-themes" and it should install
bootsplash also.  Then edit /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash and use:

THEME=Ayo

then go to /boot and "rm initrd-2.4.18-6mdk.img" and then:

mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.4.18-6mdk.img 2.4.18-6mdk

Then re-run lilo and reboot.
