Who wants to bet that if several competing computer companies were to form a coalition to compete more effectively against Microsoft, Bill Gates and/or Steve Balmer would get the heads of the Justice Department, Department of Commerce, etc. on the phone and DEMAND that it be shut down on antitrust grounds.

Why is it permittied that M$ basically strong arms a vendor into installing Windows on a new computer, but an organization that freely gives away machines so today's youth can futher themselves by becoming familiar with technology, is out of the question. All because that computer uses a rival, competitor's OS. It just further shows that M$ is trying to brainwash anybody they can get their OS on. Yet this is still permitted. Why did they bother starting a anti-trust law suit against them if they're not going to punish them for their behavior. But that's just another rant... *sigh* tdh -- -------------------------------------------------------------------- T.
