are you absolutely sure? When you start X, do you get an nVidia splash
screen?

Ya, I'm using the proprietary nVidia drivers. By the way,
someone said it works fine if you have a fast system. Is
that fast as in 1GHz+ or 2GHz? I have a 1.1GHz.
