The beauty of git is that anyone can host a repo.

I think a CPAN-like system is very important in the long term, but  
for now we have so few contributors that we can manage to keep  
everything in the same tree without too much effort.

On the other hand, a build farm would be real handy. I recall you  
were working on continuous integration at some point; please keep us  
posted on that.
