Hey, Bar, maybe you should just give up on your
novel about the Cathars and write one about me
instead. You've already got it about 75 percent
done anyway. And I'll bet nothing you could come
up with about the Cathars would be anywhere near
as imaginative.

(Of course, it's a disadvantage that in my case
there's a detailed, up-to-date historical record
to contrast with the fiction you've written, so
you'll need to go through everything you've done
so far and disguise the details of my actual
identity to make it impossible to check.)

Now, if I decided to write a strictly accurate
nonfiction book about you, everybody would think
it was a novel. Except the folks who read FFL and
saw it all with their own eyes...
