One of the problems I had with the videos of the "awakened" on BatGap
was at least the ones I saw were experiences somewhat removed from folks
I met over the years especially outside the TM movement. I mentioned in
that Jyotish thread the workshops and symposiums I attended where the
were many such of these people who BTW didn't go around advertising they
were "awakened." Probably the best thing to do if one does feel they
are enlightened is to shut up about it.
I'm only inviting those who say they've awakened "permanently", so it's a
selective group. And not all those whom I invite agree to an interview. Some
do want to be private.
Just let it play out in your
life. It sometimes seems that some of the TM folks finally got a taste
of shakti and thought it was enlightenment instead of a rung on the
ladder there. OTOH, I don't think there is anything wrong with saying
one has had a taste of enlightenment. But it is an ongoing
experience.... with no end. IOW, as many seekers through the centuries
have found, once you've think you've "arrived" you find a few days or
weeks later there is "more." ;-)
I haven't listened to these interviews since I taped them, but in the last
few days I've started doing so. Listen to interviews 3-6 and tell me if
these folks don't sound permanently "shifted".
