Er...OK. So she didn't think he had somebody actually
physically mess with the plane, she thought he might
have simply wished the woman dead, and Nature obliged
by bringing it down?

Not sure that's any less paranoid (especially since two
TMO higher-ups ended up as collateral damage).

Well, you certainly answered my question. (Still not sure
what their respective ages had to do with it, though.)

When I read the book, I'm hoping I'll find she long ago
realized how absurd this concern was, and that it kept
her from going public about her affair with MMY only
for a relatively short period after it all went down.
