He's talking about Barry's response to what you said
(quoted at the end). He's fine with what you said.
Barry couldn't express his opinion without making it
a putdown not only of Gaga but of everyone who likes
her.

BTW, I don't get much out of the music either. It's
the person performing it who resonates for me.
