thx,...agreed. Consider the inhabitans of Pandora - probably never heard of 
Skt.  Most of the mantras I chant are in Mandarin. This language is very 
conducive to the chanting of mantras by virtue of an inbuilt articulation of 
single syllable words.  When strung together and chanted rapidly, the result is 
powerful!  (somewhat also true of Japanese and some Tibetan but adepts in the 
latter can string the words together so smoothly as to make a continuous 
musical sound).

ps. Also I get a strange kundalini high whenever I hear people speaking in 
Mandarin, but another type of totally different high with German; even though I 
don't know many words in these languages.
