Wandering down to the lakefront, Graham discovered that Neil Young had set up one set of huge concert- style loudspeakers in one wall of the house, and another set in the barn. There was music booming through the speakers and Neil was out in the middle of the lake on a little floating platform there, shouting back to the sound technicians through a bullhorn as they tried to get the right stereo balance out of the system, "More barn!" :-) I met a private pilot the other day who has flown lots of rock stars. Kiss, Aerosmith, Moody Blues, Whitney Houston, etc. These days he’s flying Arab Shieks around Europe, and living in FF during his down time. He once flew Neil Young from Chicago to Santa Fe, along with Neil’s son who’s a quadaplegic. He said he earned Neil’s respect by being aware that he was a model train buff, a hobby he had picked up because it was something he could do with his son. Neil has built an elaborate model train set in his basement, and his son can control the trains by sucking or blowing on a straw-like device, similar to that which controls some wheelchairs.
