It makes me happy that you will try both. A single cube of ice or a splash of 
water just don't freeze the poor bottle. 
I have had many horror stories from my time, doing a Whisky tasting for some 
new millionaires who insisted on having a 16yr old Lagavulin with coke and then 
told me that he could smell exactly what everyone else could. Or the guys who 
bought a bottle then decided chuck it away after swigging it from the bottle 
and not liking what they bought. I still weep for that bottle it was a 21 
Glenfarclas.
