Wow, I went out to the web site, and apparently they've had quite a thing going there - I had it on our Humane Society links page, but am taking it off. That's sad.

When I was doing a search for FELV/FIV friendly rescues to add to my website, I actually emailed Angel Wings, because someone on another list told me it was a good one. The lady told me that because her cats run the entire property and are not segregated, she does NOT accept FELV or FIV cats. I visited her website, and looked at her photos, and I thought, at the time, that some of the cats shown roaming the property looked a little thin, but I figured, I'm 2000 miles away, so who was I to judge her rescue. Now, I'm glad I never added Angel Wings to my webpage! I am, however, going to add the news story on the place, and try to help people recover their cats from the hell hole! Those pictures are horrible! A good rule of thumb, if the rescue is not open for you to inspect before you take an animal there, don't take it there! I'm also going to post the info you shared here to all my other groups, because at least one person on another list referred me to that place as a possible one to add to my page, and was RAVING about how wonderful it is! I wonder what the situation was...

I collect KMR kitten formula labels for Bazil, a 3 yr old special needs cat who must live on a liquid diet for the rest of his life. Bazil's caretaker collects labels and sends them to KMR, where they add up until she earns a free can of formula!
PLEASE save your KMR kitten formula labels for Bazil!

If you use KMR, even just one can, please ask me for the mailing address you can send them to, to help feed Bazil!
