don't know anything about it, gary, but actually, this is how it
SHOULD be done--as annoying as that is--with REAL clinical trials. did
you ask them if there are any studies being done that you might be
able to participate in? if it's just blood samples required, your vet
might be able to draw them and send to the vet doing the study--that
way you could both get the benefit out of the med AND help with
establishing the research data.

just my seldom-humble opinion.....

(just imagine what the fda would think about meds being handed out
without approval--the liability issues, etc....)
