...and I have blown a 30x40 image up from a 35mm slide hand held at 1/8th second and 
had it sharp (but grainy). Generalities are just that. I only claim to
have one image shot at 1/8th second that ws sharp enough to blow up to 30x40, but it 
can be done with good techniques.
