I do not remember which platform Johannes is on. But on Mac the A4 to A3 conversion would be very easy. Actually it would call for no action within Finale itself. If an A4 score should be printed in A3, then set the print percentage in the page-set-up dialog to 141%. If an A3 score should be printed in A4, then set the print percentage in the page-set-up dialog to 71%.
