I don't know if WindowsXP can handle more than 2 monitors. I use multiple video cards on my Mac. I guess WinXP could do the same, but I've not tried it.
On Win, you may run into some issues on the Finale side, because it is MDI. Displaying Finale windows in both monitors means (otherwise) needlessly obliterating desktop real estate that could give you access to icons, etc. Fortunately, palettes and floating plugin windows are independent of the MDI window, at least in recent WinFin versions. There are members of this list who are fervent supporters of Finale's MDI interface, but from a multi-monitor perspective it is a major nuisance.
