On-line, to me, means using it without having to stop what you're doing.

It would be made so much clearer if they simply used "electronic" or "pdf manual."

At any rate, now that we're all on the same "page" so to speak, Stanford should be able to find what he's looking for.

It means that to me too. Finale shouldn't be confusing "online" with "on disk".
