(3) Dash Length and Dash Space for Smart Shapes,
I don't know which smart shapes you mean, but Custom Lines can have any dash length and space you specify. If you are specifically referring to the 8va/8vb symbols (and the like), I frequently use my own Custom Lines for these rather than the built-in ones, for this very reason (and others).
