Hi Bruce:

Could you explain what you mean by having to work around key
signatures? I work with a lot of non-tonal music and haven't felt like
I needed to work around keys.

Is the issue for the transposing instruments? All you need do is
choose "chromatic" rather than "key" in the transposition dialogue
box.
