The Mac and Windows versions of Finale have virtually identical functionality. I'm going to be teaching in a mixed lab -- both platforms. Apart from familiarizing myself with the Windows keystrokes, I really don't anticipate that this will be a problem.

Keystrokes, the MIBAC Rhythm Section Generator plugin (which doesn't function on the Mac platform), needing to save a new default file as a Template on Windows (not necessary on Mac) and PDF creation are about the only differences I know of between the two platforms. Once I learned how to navigate Windows (which I STILL don't do very well!) it went very smoothly.
