I do not quite understand that statement. The documentation is of course important, but coordinating the translation of such documentation is not exactly easy. Might have excellent coders but that does not mean they are just as excellent at writing documentation. When someone like Jeff or Michele has questions what has documented and how, it is easier for them to do soe _before_ anything has been commited. It cannot be too hard and it is not too much asked that the one who changes documentation or introduces new documents sends a diff -Nur3 to fink-i18n. They do not need to subscribe, most discussion will be between the translators and the team leaders.
That's a pity, because you are a project leader and you should at least passively montior the list. Of course that does not mean you have to subscribe.
Speaking for myself, I'm not subscribed to the fink-i18n list and I don't plan to subscribe.
That was the intention of my initial postI'll be happy to respond to questions about what things mean, if I've recently added them to the documentation.
