I currently have QT6 and I tried the following:

Pause iTunes
Received message
Heard a sound

Stopped iTunes
Received message
Heard a sound

Unfortunatly I cannot compare the behavior of this to <QT6, as I find the
sounds to be more bloody annoying, then, well, anything else. If the way
I'm going about it isn't right, could you post directions on exactly how
to create this problem, what I mean is sometimes iTunes allows you to
pause, other times to stop, etc, so I'm not sure what the exact state of
iTunes needs to be in. Also, and this may be a long shot, what system
(iMac, TiBook, etc) are those of you who are getting the problem running
on?
