You need to distinguish between the computer and its contents.
Just like your desk. The desk belongs to the company but your lunch
inside belongs to you.
The pens belong to your company.
The computer belongs to your company but the files that you create or
store belong to you unless they were explicitly given for your use by
your company (such as software, work documents etc.).
As one has an expectation of privacy for ones desk such that a
company can need a search warrant to look through it, one normally
has an expectation of privacy for the contents of their computer.

Mouss argues that the PC assigned to him/her is his/hers.
Wrong ! It is the same as saying the fork lift you operate is yours.
Give me
a break !
Respect for private property seems lacking, I'd say.
Blessings,
Norman
