Hello
I also live in sunny Fl. and has done so for almost 25 years. I have a farm
north of Ocala and also a residence in Spring hill Fl. Our animals send
time in both places. The summers at both places can get pretty hot. I have
never had to clip any of my horses including my fjord gelding to accommodate
the
heat however special precautions are taken to insure that they are
comfortable through out the summer months. In fact, at work (I'm the animal
director
for Weeki Wachee Springs) I'm creating a new animal show and the times have
been scheduled early morning, to avoid the heat and mister systems have the
now been installed for the animals comfort.
Julie Rivers..
