The 1500/3000 are both wired the same. Look very closely at the internal
pins or "fingers" of the 3000 to make sure they are ok..
My Yaesu MH-31 hand-mic works fine with both the F3000 and the F1500.
However, my Heil Traveler 2 headset/mic with the FT-817 adapter works
with the 3000, but not the 1500. The audio is good, but PTT does not
work. I've checked the RJ-45 fingers and all is well. I haven't buzzed
out the adapter cable yet, but if both rigs are wired the same I should
get the same results, no?
