Al, It this a brand new Traveler? Reason is tha the previous Travel would not work with the 1500 due to the need for cleaner bias voltage for the mic, which would cause a buzz in the audio with just the adapter.. Same adapter works fine with the 3000, Heil was reportly planning a Traveler with out the need for bias voltage to make the mic work.. So now you see why I asked the question.
But this is not the reseason the PTT is not working, if it works on the 3K it should work fine on the 1500, like I had said previously on the 3K , check the slip pins on the 1500 jack. 73, Dudley WA5QPZ FlexRadio Systems (512) 250-8595, Option 2 Email: [email protected] Web: www.flex-radio.com "Tune in excitement!" ™ On Sat, Sep 4, 2010 at 4:00 PM, Alfred Green <[email protected]> wrote: > FlexRadio Support, Dudley Hurry wrote: > >> Richard, >> >> The 1500/3000 are both wired the same.
