Hi Lee & Bob,
I fully agree that power button is not a suitable denomination. On
commercial products which contain microprocessor controls this button /
indicator carries often the designation "Run" which comes closer to what
this button really actuates and indicates.

I would not be so happy. There were many hardware control bugs in 1.3.3
all dealing
with the new state machine for controlling hardware not being
initialized correctly.
(No amp keying, PA bias not set, etc.). I would trust nothing, including
the "fix"
until you get 1.3.4 in your hands.
I agree that these things are ornery but I would wait to say it is cured.
I agree with you on Active and Standby. I never did like PowerOn/Off.

Hi:
Quick note to let folks know that a problem I have been continuously
been seeing with ALL previous versions supporting USB, including
1.2.0, is magically _fixed_ in v1.3.3. Previously reported was an
issue wherein audio is heard when the “power” GUI was turned off if
the USB interface is used, but when the PIO is used it performs
correctly. Others had attributed it to ground loops, etc. (it isn’t)
and I can hear a relay activate the mutes the audio. I hadn’t the time
recently to trace it, but I did download code and saw that 1.3.3 fixed
it, again proving it’s not grounding. I have both 1.2.0 and 1.3.3
loaded and can flip back and forth from no problem to problem
depending upon the last version used and exited from.
*_SUGGESTION_*: Please change the windows button box marked “POWER” to
“Standby” “or “Active” or the like. It is not a power switch and at
some point you’ll run afoul of the regulatory folks in the US or
Europe (especially when selling finished goods). Power is still
flowing through the radio when the UI indicates otherwise based upon
the nomenclature. It could even become a liability issue from an
observant gold digger (that’s the last thing you need).
