I installed the variable speed fan controller designed by W1GHZ. It's the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas. Someone was selling kits for this but I've lost track of who.
I also did the nibbling thing, although I found the nibbling tool less effective that a small saw. I did that first. Someone said something about a quieter fan, same CFM? I'd love to know what that was.
