Definitely the SteppIR .... is the best way to go...

I have had a SteppIR MonstIR for 4+ years... never ever need to use a
tuner running a KW as the antenna is always close to 1:1....

I might note that the advantage of a self tuned antenna is that there
are no losses from tuners...

DDUTIL sure makes it easy to use the SteppIR with my Flex5000.

Unless you raise the stakes by one and tune the antenna itself such 
as a Steppir or a screwdriver....
