This is the only way to get a great match from a non-resonant antenna. The SGC units, as well as the Icom AH-4 do a good job for this. I am currently using the CG-5000 (http://www.cgantenna.be/cg5000.html) and so far I am please with it. I've been tuning my antenna at the feed point from day one and it is by far the best way to go. I'd like to suggest using a very high quality unit called a Smartuner. It's made by SGC and the model 230 is the one I recommend. It has to be one of the best kept secrets in our hobby.
