I finally managed to get my Flex5K up and running last night after a weekend
spent upgrading to an Intel E9550 quad core 2.83Ghz w/4GB Ram on a ASUS P5Q
Deluxe MB.
First impressions mean everything and I AM IMPRESSED....!
I am using a simple 110ft balun fed V with 40m traps, and only receiving for
now as I learn how to massage the settings....
My only peeve so far is the lag that occurs with the PowerMate VFO control,
but my guess is that it is a USB lag....
I'll be adding comments as I get familiar with the gear....
