Ah ooo..hmmm...see the cg related message I just sent.  This explains the
concern for cg vs. 3dmodel rotation.

It doesn't.  We're making the assumption that the lon/lat/alt comes from a
fixed location.  And I think that assumption is valid for YASim currently.
