That's not necessarily true. The requirement would be that the FDMs use the
coordinate system that they need to use, but publish a known point on the
aircraft in its (the FDMs) frame. Everyone is aware of a fixed point on the
aircraft. This common point on the aircraft should be readily visible and
easily distinguishable. The center of some "bounding box" doesn't fit that
bill. "It's as obvious as the tip of your nose" (or something like that) is
a phrase I think gives a strong suggestion as to what that point should be.
It's unambiguous.

This is exactly what I've been pushing for in that last day or two.

I'm not arguing that this doesn't make sense, BTW, just that it is ambiguous
(to me - I don't have the slightest idea of what the bounding box is for an
aircraft - though I am familiar with bounding boxes).

Another important specification to require is the coordinate frame
orientation, as I have outlined previously (yesterday).
