That's committed now under ./utils/Modeller/uv_pack.py. Follow the instructions in the file, and please report problems. It turns an empty texture in something like this: http://members.aon.at/mfranz/uvmap.jpg [19.0 kB] You see a colored rectangle for every mapping. Unfortunately, it's ATM moment not possible to show all mappings -- you have to select them to get them displayed. There still a lot of free room, but I don't think that's bad.
