Thats what I thought too, but its happening to too many totally
different solutions with no link between any of them apart from using
the same computer. In fact one solution is brand new this morning as i
just started to create a new one and its doing the same. The only common
denominator is the computer and filemaker 9. Maybe I had better re
install it. By the way its 9 advanced not just 9

I've never seen the strange things that are happening on a layout
in all
solutions.
When you click on a field or text in the layout normally, the four
black
dots denoting its location appear around the item. For some
inexplicable
reason and at varying times these four black dots are appearing some 3
inches above the item selected. Its only started to happen over the
past 2
days.
If you then select 'Browse' and return to the layout and select the
same
field everything is fine. It doesn't seem to be a problem other
than having
to go back and forth from browse mode.
Anybody else ever experienced this anomaly
