I doubt if it is a network issue. It seems to be confined to the
this datafile, FMP10a and/or MacBook Pro machine. Other machines
don't seem to have this problem with that file. Or any other file.
I've tried re-installing FMP10a, also. No improvement either.
There is something definitely 'odd' about all of this.
Try the File > Recover feature. This is an "off label" use for it,
but sometimes it works, and it's an easy thing to do.
If that still doesn't help, there's the really tedious and
painstaking approach of using "Save a Copy As ..." to make a clone of
the file, then importing all the data from the old file into the
clone. Obviously, this is something you'd want to do on the host
computer, not your guest MacBook.
