Jason,
If you hide all of the nets does this help? Just hit N-->H-->A;
Nets-->Hide-->All. Once they are hidden try moving something just to see if
you get the delay. If you don't get a delay after ALL nets are hidden, then
you can worry about tracking down the grief nets. If the delay still exists
then you can be assured that the analyzing nets is not the issue here.
It is best to cover them all just to see if it is the problem, if you only
hide a few of them you may miss one that is causing grief.
This sounds very much like the issue of slowing down while analyzing nets.
Just try hiding them all and see if it helps.
