I think that, as you mention, there is some great work being done on 
Freevo but the developers will only ever be able to develop and test for 
a certain amount of scenarios due to limited hardware exposure. I know 
that a lot of people customise Freevo themselves and make their own 
little (or large) hacks and changes to their configs. A lot of the time 
these never get posted back to the list even though they'd almost 
certainly benefit someone if not the community as a whole (and I'm 
guilty of this myself!) and that's a shame as these lists are the one 
coordinated place where all Freevo users can get and share this kind of 
info. If you want to start a new post and attach any plugins that would 
be great, the community can take or leave what they need.
