I entirely agree. In fact, the more I think about it, the more it
makes sense. And when you look at the original whitepapers, all
of those "Techniques" are essentially design patterns. Simply 
formalizing those in a pattern language and giving them 
recognizable names would accomplish exactly what I'm after. And 
it would save us from having to rely on a constantly outdated,
centralized document.
