>I get this a lot too on my Wallstreet. I have no clue what causes it,
but it may be hardware (Power Manager?)
I reinstalled OS X a few seconds ago...I'll post an update if anything
changes.<
-----------------------------
I want to thank those who have responded on and off the list. The potential fix
appears to be an update to 10.2.4. I will install the update tonight, and start
testing. One thing I refuse to do is to re-install the OS. First, this is a somewhat
"minor" problem ( an OS re-install should only be necessary, if at all, to correct a
major, major FUBAR), and second, this is Mac (well, unix), not Windows. I can see a
re-install on a beta release (such as the original OS X before 10.2, or Safari), but
not on a release-quality product; again, unless it is FUBAR'd.
