rubber cement is more fragrant than most krazy glues, but the fumes from the krazy glues tend to react poorly with many kinds of plastics. In repairing a Flat-panel iMac, I once broke the clear plastic bezel around the display and tried to krazy glue it back on... only to find that it turned the clear plastic bezel white. I thought maybe it was the glue bonding... but I tested on another section and it was just the fumes. YOW!


now, i always test krazy glue on a throw-away piece before applying it to anything that could be seen.
