I've already tried doing a reset...and it still comes up with no brightness...I am absolutely sure that nobody has changed the brightness settings on my computer....I live in a house of peecee people who couldn't find the system preferences for their life and I have a password...

n

I don't have multiuser set. So I think that means that I am always
root because there is no logon.....I am the only person that uses the
pb and I did not change the brightness.....

n

Recently something weird has been happening to my pb ws 2. It is
running os X and whenever I turn it on it has a 0 brightness so I cant
see anything. I can fix it just by turning the brightness up but it
still is annoying... and it is still dark the next time I turn it
on....does anyone know how to fix it??

n

You could maybe try to log under root and set the brightness there.
Before
you log in, many settings are set to whatever is set for the
administrator
ID 'root', so maybe something was screwed up somewhere? You might have
to
activate the 'root' user account, though, in NetInfo... Other than
that, I
don't know.
