Has anybody here used the Canon LiDE Flatbed scanners successfully on Panther ?
I really like the size and portability (and price !) of these scanners but am just wondering how easy they are to set up and how fast they are.

I have a newer LiDE Canon scanner at home (I'll have to check the model). It works fine under Panther and Jag, and it works in native or classic mode.

Steve

Great !! Thanks - please let me know which one it is. I need to have it work in native mode. How do you find the speed and quality of the scans ?

Amber

It's an LiDE 30. The OS X software is on Canon USA's site if it's not on the CD that comes with the scanner. I've found the speed acceptable. I haven't done any really high res stuff with it yet. Most of my stuff is scanned at 150 or 300 DPI.
