Is there an advantage to connecting the printer directly to the router? (maybe no desktop at the router?)
precisely -- for now, I'm 100% portable. the old desktop is retired (awaiting some upgrades), and the 17" G4 'book is serving me well. now that I'm fully engulfed in the portable life, I would hate being tethered to the desk for printing! ;)
