Even with that you prboably need to set the software to drop frames. As a G4 upgrade is about the same as a DVD decoder card I'd get one. Especially as the DVD decoder card doesn't work with OS X. I, however, sold my WS II and bought PB G4/400 instead. For that and a G4/400 Tower and some pocket change I got a Powerbook G4/400, some RAM, 10 GB more HD, 1152 x 768 pixels, Firewire and USB and DVDplayer.
