I was out of town for a week, so didn't carefully read all of my email,
somehow missing the original post regarding "less is more" or "bigger
is better." I'm assuming this discussion is comparing sizes of 'books.
I bought the 17" PB last summer. I LOVE all of the features, but it
is not so easy to lug around. I'm always wanting to take it to
meetings (rather than taking printed-out emails and documents). I also
maintain a website for a basketball program, and am almost always
wishing I had my PB with me at games, to update this or that. I may
return to school this semester, and I will DEFINITELY want to have my
PB! Lugging the whole case is quite a load, so sometimes the PB just
goes in my purse. Of course, HALF of it sticks out of the top and
causes my purse to fall over, and I don't want it on the floor, either.
So, I end up holding it the whole time. All that to say that I'm
wondering if I might have been happier with the 15" PowerBook. I've
even thought that if I had a 12"-er, it would probably literally be in
my purse everywhere I went. Hmmm, maybe I need a PDA... I don't know,
a 40-something mom with a very tall backpack???
