There is no saying as to when Tiger will be released.
But, if you're not in a hurry and can wait until the beginning of July, then why not waiting? But then, at that time, rumors of a G5 PowerBook might be more persistent, so maybe you will want to wait in September to see if they are finally released. You see, you can always have a good reason to wait...
Yes, been there done that.
Bought my TiBook 550 three weeks before they fitted it with Combo and bought my 15" AlBook a couple of weeks before they fitted it with SuperDrive (I thin it was, or was there some other upgrade on the standard machine ?)
In any case, the cash burning a hole in my pocket and my wife's student discount does point towards an imminent purchase as soon as I'm allowed out of the house. I am currently housebound due to a 4" nail in my shoulder (intentially fitted to reconnect my shoulder after a motorbike accident...)...
