HandBrake, Nvu and NeoOffice are great. I've replaced MS office with
NeoOffice on my home machines.
There's a lot of cool stuff there.
A site with TONS of OSS stuff is Sourcforge.org. Its all platforms,
but you can search for projects with OS X ports.
(Also pure Java apps run well on OS X...and there's a lot of those on
Sourceforge.)
